Nigeria—6 Killed In Boko Haram Attacks In Northeast

At least six people have been killed in a series of attacks in northeastern Nigeria, reports the Defense Post. On Monday, Boko Haram militants, believed to be from the Abubakar Shekau faction, opened fire on goat herders near Tubba, about 5 miles (8 km) from Maiduguri, in Borno state. Two herders were killed in the attack and two were missing, presumably captured, said a local militia leader.
