USA—Air Force Pushes Back Light Attack Aircraft Program

The competition to provide a new light-attack aircraft to the U.S. Air Force has been postponed indefinitely, reports Defense News.  Undersecretary of the Air Force Matt Donovan announced the decision on Friday, saying the service was not ready to commit to a program. Donovan said the Air Force planned to expand the scope of the program, suggesting that new aircraft could be considered.
