Mali—Al-Qaida Affiliate Claims Deadly Attack On Peacekeepers

At least 10 peacekeepers have been killed and 25 people injured in an attack on a U.N. base in northern Mali, reports CNN.  On Sunday, gunmen fired on the U.N. camp in the village of Aguelhok, said Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.  The peacekeepers were Chadian nationals, said a U.N. statement cited by Reuters.  U.N. personnel responded "robustly," killing several assailants, said Guterres.  The Al-Qaida-affiliated Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimeen (JNIM) claimed responsibility...
