USA—Deal Inked For New Radars For Aging Marine Hornet Fighters

The U.S. Marine Corps has chosen Raytheon to supply new radars for its fleet of F/A-18C/D Hornet fighter jets, reports the defense firm.  The deal cover AN/APG-79(v)4 radars, a scaled version of the APG-79 active electronically scanned array radar, which is integrated on the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fighter and EA-18G Growler electronic attack aircraft.
