China—Former Top General Jailed For Corruption

The former chief of joint staff of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army has been sentenced to life in prison for corruption, reports the South China Morning Post, citing state media. On Wednesday, a military court convicted Gen. Fang Fenghui of giving and receiving bribes, reported Xinhua, China's state-run news agency.
