India—Government Set To Lease Another Nuclear-Powered Sub From Russia

The Indian government is set to sign an agreement with Russia later this week to lease another Akula-class nuclear attack submarine, reports the Economic Times (India). The US$3 billion deal covers the 10-year lease of an Akula-class submarine and is anticipated to be signed on Thursday, sources told the newspaper.
