Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed has appointed the former intelligence chief to a senior advisory role after he was controversially fired by the prime minister, reports the East African (Nairobi).
On Sept. 4, Prime Minister Mohammed Hussein Roble fired National Intelligence and Service Agency (NISA) chief Fahad Yasin over his alleged failure to investigate the disappearance and possible murder of an agent working in the agency’s cybersecurity department, reported Reuters.
