Burkina Faso—Scores Killed In Retaliation Attack On Militants

The Burkinabe military says it has killed 146 militants in separate operations in response to a deadly terrorist attack in the north, reports Agence France-Presse.  Early Monday, militants launched an attack on the town of Kain in the northern Yatenta province, which borders Mali, killing at least 14 civilians, the military said.  In response, the military launched operations in the Yatenta, Loroum and Kossi provinces.
