USA—Tulsa Littoral Ship Set To Enter Service

The Navy is about to commission its newest Independence-class littoral combat ship (LCS), reports the Dept. of Defense. The Tulsa will formally enter service during a Saturday ceremony in San Francisco, the department said on Wednesday.  The Tulsa is the 15th littoral combat ship to enter service and the eighth of the Independence class, noted a Navy release earlier this month.
