The CENTENARY-class offshore patrol vessels were built by the China Shipbuilding and Offshore International Co. (CSOC) Wuchang Shipyard in Wuhan for the Nigerian navy. The P18N design, which was derived from the Chinese JIANGDAO-class corvette, was also used for the Thai navy's PATTANI class. The patrol ships were the first to be exported by China to Africa.
