The Finnish m61/37 105-mm howitzer (also known as the M-61/37 and the H 61-37) combined the carriage of an older Finnish howitzer with new barrel and gun cradle. The result was a conventional-looking weapon with a short barrel and a single-baffle muzzle brake, recoil mechanism under the barrel, curved gun shield and sliding block breech.
