The Yugoslav M48 mountain gun, also called the "Tito Gun" after the dictator of the same name, was developed after World War II for Yugoslav mountain units, but could also be used as a field gun. The weapon was easily recognized by its short barrel and folding split trails. Each trail was hinged in the center and folded forward through 180 degrees for towing.
