Cameroon Navy Nations // Africa



OVERVIEW The Cameroon navy (Marine Nationale Republique) is primarily a coastal force responsible for patrolling the nation's offshore economic zone. It is also responsible for the defense of Lake Chad in the far north. The navy has three marine battalions called the Fusiliers Marin.   PERSONNEL STRENGTH The Cameroon navy numbers 1,300 personnel.
