Togo Overview
OVERVIEW Togo is the eastern part of a former German colony called Togoland. That colony was captured by France and Britain during World War I, with what is now Togo being ruled by France. It is located on the west coast of Africa and is bordered to the east by Benin, to the north by Burkina Faso and to the west by Ghana.
