OVERVIEW The Honduran navy operates a number of small patrol craft in support of operations in the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean. A small marine infantry battalion organized into three independent companies provides on-shore support and base security. PERSONNEL STRENGTH The navy has approximately 1,400 personnel, including around 830 marines.
