OVERVIEW The Royal Malaysian Navy's (Tentara Laut Diraja Malaysia -- TLDM) surface fleet is divided into two fleet commands (east and west) covering three area commands. Area One Command covers peninsular Malaysia and territorial waters west of 109 degrees East longitude; Area Two Command encompasses Borneo and areas east of 109 degrees East longitude; and Area Three covers the Indian Ocean.
