OVERVIEW The mission of the Croatian navy (Hrvatska Ratna Mornarica) is to protect and control the country's territorial waters and defend the littoral area from Cape Savudrija on the border with Slovenia to the Prevlaka peninsula at the northern entrance of the Bay of Cattaro (Montenegro). Responsibility for surveillance of sea, land and airspace falls to a number of coastal surveillance centers.
